Full Membership
Data Contributing Member either registered as credit providers with the National Credit Regulator (NCR), or data providers that voluntarily submit data on a reciprocal basis.

Affiliate-led Group Member (ALG)
ALG Member is a class of member representing at least 10 data contributors who have the characteristics, criteria, rights and obligations of Full Members.
The Group is led by a Group Leader, which may be any person, entity or institution who is neither a data contributor nor does it perform enquiries on the Associate Member databases on its own behalf, but either (a) provides a service that facilitates data submissions on behalf of the data contributor members it represents; or (b) provides a Loan Management System that includes functionality to submit data on behalf of the data contributor members it represents.

Hosting Membership
Hosting Member is a class of member as described in section 43 of the NCA and whose business is primarily to collect, maintain, store and report data subject, credit and risk information.
With the introduction of Regulation 19(13), the credit bureau to be authorised in writing by the National Credit Regulator to receive, host and
return credit information to any party requesting it for a permitted purpose or a purpose contemplated in the NCA.

Affiliate Membership
Appointed by a Data Contributing Member to perform a specified service or task which may require access to credit and risk data or any data derived from consumer credit information which the Data Contributing Member would be entitled to receive.
Appointed by a Hosting Member as an on-seller of consumer credit information in accordance with certain provisions required by SACRRA, and subject to the provisions of S43 of the NCA.

Network Associate Membership
A Network Associate Member is any industry association or interest group which is neither a data contributor, nor performs enquiries on the Hosting Member databases on its own behalf and represents any group or sector of interested industry participants, whether these participants are Members of SACRRA or not.
- To foster a trusting and cooperative relationship with SACRRA with the intention of collectively improving the data ecosystem and address their respective member issues.
- To collaborate with SACRRA on common or cross-cutting industry or legislative issues and/or other industry initiatives or strategic projects.

Membership fees
At SACRRA, we understand the importance of accommodating our members’ diverse needs and bringing smaller players into the fold by subsidized fee structures. That’s why our membership fees are determined by your membership category and invoiced annually at the beginning of each year.
For your convenience, fees are due within 30 days of invoicing, and some membership categories even offer pro-rated mid-year joining fees. To ensure a seamless application process, a nominal non-refundable application fee applies for all new members.
